ABOUT THE PIGGERY

In 1972 this traditional two storey house was nothing but a pigsty. But look at it now. With a mix of modern amenities, contemporary art and a good selection of bric-a-brac you will find it cosy and homely.

From the courtyard you enter into an open plan kitchen-dining-living area with sea views and exposed stone walls. This cottage style apartment features high beamed ceilings and a large stone fire place. The dining area has large pine dresser, complete with a collection of blue china and a family dining table. The living area has comfy sofas and a rocking chair by the window so you can watch the tide come in. There is a flat screen TV and a book exchange. The walls are decorated with a mix of wicker wreaths, nautical charts and contemporary art.

Up the blue ‘childproof’ stairs are the master bedroom with a king size bed and its own spacious ensuite shower room, a twin room with antique brass bedsteads and room for a cot, tongue and groove ceiling and pine wardrobe. The additional large family bathroom makes it suitable for families with small children or four adults. Sleeps 4 plus a baby in a cot.
